General Overview
This Secqrd Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy“) forms part of the Enterprise Account User Terms of Service | Secqrd and the Buyer Account User Terms of Service | Secqrd (together, the “Terms”). All terms that are capitalised but not defined in this Policy have the meaning set out in those Terms.
As part of our commitment to keeping Secqrd a safe place for everyone, the Policy will be updated regularly in consultation with relevant stakeholders. The Policy help keep the platform safe for everyone by establishing a set of norms and common code of conduct that every Secqrd user should comply with. The Policy applies to everyone and everything on Secqrd. Your continued access or use of the Services after the date of the new Policy constitutes your acceptance of the new Policy. If you do not agree with the new Policy, you must stop accessing or using the Services.
Please notify us promptly if you are aware of any security breaches or activity which would violate this Policy or the Terms. If you are unsure whether certain actions have violated the Policy or the Terms, please contact the Customer Support team at support@secqrd.com.
Any access or usage of the Services must comply with the Terms, the Policy as well as all applicable laws and regulations (including without limitation laws and regulations of the place where you incorporate or reside if applicable to your access or use of the Services).
Any behaviour or content as below is prohibited in the Services (including but not limited to):
- Behaviour or Content intended to infringe on the Intellectual property (IP) of Secqrd or other third-party users.
- Behaviour or Content intended to expose confidential, sensitive, or protected information to an unauthorized entity/company.
- Behaviour or Content intended to damage the safety and security of the platform, which includes the Secqrd website, app, network, and associated infrastructure or networks.
- Behaviour or Content intended to sell, promote or trade certain regulated goods and services.
- Behaviour or Content intended to deceive others to generate financial or personal benefits.
As a user of Secqrd, you agree to adhere to the Policy by ensuring content is inclusive and safe for all users. Any behaviour or content as below is prohibited in the Services (including but not limited to):
- Explicit Behaviour or Content intended to promote sexual activity, sexually gratifying, fetish content or body exposure.
- Behaviour or Content intended to endanger the emotional and physical well-being of minors.
- Behaviour or Content intended to promote and praise fear, horror and violence.
- Behaviour or Content intended to promote violence, abusive behaviour (Vulgar language), sexual harassment or hatred against individuals or groups.
- Behaviour or Content intended to promote misleading information or deceptive content with serious risk of egregious harm, including bodily harm or death.
- Behaviour or Content intended to promote distorted, destructive views towards any belief or theory strongly at variance with established social beliefs, customs, or religious organisation.
You are prohibited from sending spam messages by using the Secqrd Reports module, which prohibition shall include without limitation to the following:
- Sending messages to recipients without their consent;
- Sending messages that contain advertisements, e-newsletters, commercial promotion, products promotion, or any other forms of promotional content without recipients’ prior consent, or unsubscribed by the recipients;
- Sending messages that contain irrelevant or disruptive content to recipients who have not requested quotes or lack actual business relationships with the sender;
- Sending messages that hide the sender’s identity, address, subject, or other details;
- Sending messages that contain false information about their sources, senders, routing, or other such details;
- Sending messages intended to spread viruses, engage in fraud, or steal recipients’ account passwords or other recipients’ information;
- Sending messages that recipients are unable to reject or block according to their own wishes;
- Sending messages that contain sensitive, obscene, pornographic, gambling, superstition, or any other content that would undermine internet security or violate any applicable laws or regulations or the Terms; or
- Obtaining email addresses through online automatic collection, random combinations of letters or numbers, or other illegal or improper methods for sell, share or exchange, and/or sending emails to the aforementioned email addresses.
Additionally, every Secqrd user must ensure that they are above the legal age in their jurisdictions or if they are fully able and legally competent.
Consequences
If any user failed to comply with the Policy, we might take appropriate action to keep the platform safe. This includes (but is not limited to): suspension or termination of the Services (e.g., suspension or termination of the accounts of the Customer, Authorised Users and/or Individual Users in part or in full) and removal of any content you have shared via the Services. Customer, Authorised Users and/or Individual Users will be notified of our decisions and can appeal if they believe no violation has occurred. If required, any misconduct may lead to legal action and disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities if we deem it necessary or required by law.
Language
There may be multiple language versions of the Terms and this Policy. If there are inconsistencies or conflicts in the language versions, the English version of these Terms and this Policy shall prevail.
