What is Secqrd?

Secqrd (pronounced as secured) is a B2B2C SaaS software solution. Secqrd is an after-sales engagement tool tailored for products that are sold with a warranty. We connect sellers directly with buyers via e-warranty registration, enabling in-app communication, issue loyalty vouchers, review data analytics and sellers can upsell 100+ addons to buyers after an initial sale to increase revenue from a single paying customer.

Why is Secqrd more cost effective?

Secqrd is built on a simple per-business subscription fee starting from US$49 per month with up to 20 team user accounts. Plus, we do not bill you on a per-QR-scan, or per SMS fee which ultimately costs you more over the long run. 

What are the advantages of using Secqrd?

What are viewer accounts?

Viewer accounts are secondary accounts that have limited features and is designed primarily to be used by employees or 3rd party vendors who are tasked to communicate with the buyer to resolve product issues. 

Are there any limitations when creating products?

No. You can create any type of products with multiple brands, versions, variation or colours. However, please note that if products listed on Secqrd which are categorised as against our usage policy, we will suspend the product from your account. Your buyers will not be able to also view / access the particular product once it has been suspended.

What if i am a distributor of a product, do I need to get the manufacturer to register also with Secqrd?

Not necessary, but you are highly encouraged to invite your manufacturer to streamline the process of product recalls and after-sales warranty management with Secqrd. As all products created on Secqrd are unique according to Brand Name, Product Name, Model Number, Version Number, etc – as a distributor, your business can use Secqrd to manage these products after you have created it in your business account. 

What are the options that i can upsell as product add-ons?

Buyers can select add-on options via their app including purchasing extended warranty packages, on-site services, product related add-ons such as refills, enhancements and protection and product insurance. You can view a recommended list here.

Do my buyers need to download the mobile app to register for product e-warranty?

No. We practice a simplistic approach to also allow your buyers to easily register their product e-warranty and access their Secqrd account instantly using a web browser on their phones. 

How do I integrate my current database into Secqrd?

For the first 1,000 products, we will assist you to upload this for free during the account setup phase. Furthermore, we do also provide you with a simple user manual on data uploading and integration. You will need to upload the data via your business admin account itself. 

Can i add some extra features that are required for my business use?

Licensing & Subscription Plans

What happens after my 14-day trial expires?

You can contact us directly at sales@secqrd.com to request for a 7-days extension upon the completion of your 14-day trial period. On default, your account will be deactivated unless you purchase a subscription plan from your business admin panel.

Are the subscription fees charged on a per user basis?

No. Secqrd charges a flat fee per business annually for each of its plans. Each plan comes with a range of admin accounts and a range of user accounts according to the respective plans. 

Are there any discounts?

Yes. If you subscribe to our 2-year plan (24-Months), you will get 30% OFF.

What are transaction fees?

Secqrd allows your buyers to  select add-on options as set by you via the app as detailed above. With every purchase done via Secqrd, we will deduct a simple flat fee based on each package from the amount billed to the buyer. This fee includes the mandatory charges as billed by the payment gateway provider.

How can I avoid paying transaction fees for add-on purchases?

We recommend our Secqrd annual licensing plans which gives your business all the benefits of our solution minus the transaction fees (0%).

How soon will we get paid for add-ons purchases?

We do settlement for buyer purchases on a standard 14 working days basis. However should your business have a heavy volume of transaction, we can discuss this arrangement separately.

What if i have between 500K - 5M buyers?

Other Queries

I already have an existing after-sales system. Will you assist us to migrate into Secqrd?

As the cost of maintaining your own software is expensive and requires a team by its own, you may consider to upgrade your existing buyers into Secqrd. We are here to assist you in this transition into Secqrd. Do let us know what type of software your business is currently using to enable our team to give you an easy solution on this migration steps.

What are the other costs involved in integrating Secqrd to our current business process?

As Secqrd is built to replace conventional methods, we recommend that you purchase our Secqrd warranty cards to be included into your product packaging. Please visit our pricing page here.

I have a product that has multiple variations. Can Secqrd recognise this individual versions?

Yes. In the add product page, we have made it even more flexible for our business users to add datasets with the use of a “+” button. Secqrd also has the identification filter for product type, product version and serial number to ensure each product type is unique.

What are the common challenges other business users face during integration?

In most cases, one of the common challenges are the  adding of existing customers into Secqrd. The issue mostly lies in the email address that was provided by the customer during registration – which no longer works. The best solution is to contact the customer via phone (in cases where the phone number was collected) or to inform about the use of Secqrd in existing social media pages to update customers and encourage them to download Secqrd.
